Finished my Double Pink Star block.....it's fun going through the fabrics looking for companions......love these little scissors from Marsha McCloskey!
Ten completed so far. Kind of addicting!
I am making my stars with what I call the Rectangle/Square method that produces these little Leftovers that make 1" Half Square Triangles. Always looking ahead to some Unknown Project that will use them!
Wonder what next week's color will be!
I was resisting up to this week, but next week I'll be jumping in. Love what you've done so far.
ReplyDeleteall very pretty....a fun sew along for us fabric lovers!
ReplyDeleteI love the grouping of all of your stars--the cheddar/blue one is my favorite, for sure!
ReplyDeleteWow, look at you go! I was going to make my double pink yesterday but... Can't wait to see them all in person!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Star blocks! Isn't it fun how the cheddar background in the Prussian blue block makes it look bigger than the one next to it? I did a double take or triple to make sure you hadn't goofed! :)
ReplyDeleteYour stars are amazing ! Love your pink one !! :)
ReplyDeletegreat stars! need to do mine and catch up!!!
ReplyDeleteFun! Like a couple others here, I have not yet started mine. They seem like the perfect project for pre-cutting and then sewing up at a quilt retreat. I'm still looking for the perfect Prussian blue ~
ReplyDeleteI have replenished my collection with 7 new fats of some beautiful cheddars and chrome yellows. But gosh darn it I don't think I have any Prussian Blue.guess I will have to revisit my local quilt shop. Love your blocks! I have 13 done so far. They go together so well.
