Snowflake Quilt from Dargate Fabrics c.1830

This is one of my favorite (I have a LOT of those!) little quilts.  I just kept quilting on it because I enjoyed handling it!  All that quilting gives such a nice feel to the quilt.......only have one fullsize quilt that I quilted so closely!  The fabrics in the 3" Snowflake blocks are predominantly from Margo Krager's Dargate Botanicals line.  The sashing/border/binding fabric is "Sisters" by Mary Koval for Windham.  I wanted to make a "busy" quilt with lots of fabrics and I think I achieved it!  I've been trying to add to the Comments today, with no success, to thank everyone for their nice words!  And to tell you that I listed a kit on ebay if anyone is interested.

    Phenomenal use of fabric!! Every "X" is unique -- and love the yellow one. Every quilt should have a little cheddar or yellow! :-)

    The sashing adds such interest to this quilt with the curves and the color. Gives the piece a unique look. Good choice.

    Yes, your commentators are all right. It is a beautiful quilt and the sashing is an eyecatcher. I am looking for some "older" fabric from 2004. Kathie thought you might have some. Could you email me so I could give you details?

    WOW what a little treasure this quilt is..i LOVE everything about it! When i first saw it on Maida, i thought it was a hooked rug. I love the sashing fabric as well as the border fabric which gives it an added dimension and frames the quilt so beautifully!!
