is Lori of humblequilts.blogspot.com!!! I asked my random generator (husband) to pick a number between 1 and 67.......he picked 34 which turned out to be Lori's place in the list of comments! Send me your address, Lori, and I will send them on to you!! I think I have enough samples for 3-4 more postal boxes full and then I will go back to my Giveaway of shop scraps......which are accumulating daily!! Anything less than 6" x 42" (which I am now rolling up into little rolls for the basket on my checkout) goes into the scrap basket!
Really like to include photographs in posts so I will leave you with this one......bet a lot of you will know what/where it is without my telling you!!!

I'll be happy to pick up a box of scraps when I come next month!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are in luck! You will be able to enter your name in a shop drawing during September for a 12# box of scraps! Please note that I will be on vacation the week of Sep 23-26.......my granddaughter is taking me on an "adventure"!!
DeleteYou are going to Maine next month, Randy?
DeleteOkay, is this PEI--where your "adventure" will be?
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for Lori! Love that gal! She lamented how far away your shop is from her--now it can come to her. : )
YES! Went there in l989 before the house burned and am eager to see how the replacement compares! Bet that they did it as exactly as they could! When I was a child, my Mom gave me the whole set of "Anne" books and I LOVED them! The house turned out to be similar to what I had imagined as I read the books. Then, when PBS had the video in the early 1990's, my granddaughter fell in love too!
DeleteMy daughters and I have loved the "Anne" books and the movies and we would love to make it there someday!
DeleteOh I am so happy it was Lori. She can use a pick me up right now with all she has going on! That is one of my favorite places. I went there right after they had the fire and you could still smell the smoke in the upstairs bedroom. We also went to the house she was born in in New London. What a beautiful place! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletei have never been to PEI....anne of green gables land isn't it? oh, the weather should be wonderful...and congrats to lori, the scraps will be gorgeous i know!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for Lori! I bet she will create something pretty wonderful. My ancesters are from PEI....Have a wonderful adventure.
ReplyDeleteHappy for Lori! If it wasn't me, then she is a good substitute!
ReplyDeleteSo excited! Thank you! I wouldn't have known what that building is without reading the comments. It's very pretty.
